Zombie Carbon Taxes – The Climate Realism Show #189

Download MP3
The election of Donald Trump in 2024 looked like it brought an end to the previous administration’s radical environmental policies. America walked out on the global climate scammers, canceled green energy projects, and is still trying to claw back billions of dollars shoveled out the door to Democrat-linked groups in the waning days of the Biden administration. But one of the worst environmental policies of all, like a zombie, is still wandering around Washington. A spending bill that passed the Senate recently included a provision directing the Department of Energy to review the “carbon intensity” of American-made products and compare the CO₂ emissions with similar products imported to the United States. Such provisions are how carbon taxes, or even carbon tariffs, come to life. What’s going on here? And can this be stopped?

The Heartland Institute’s Anthony Watts, Sterling Burnett, Linnea Lueken, and Jim Lakely will tackle this subject, plus other Crazy Climate News of the Week.
