Electric vehicles cost much more than most people realize, with many costs borne by taxpayers and ratepayers hidden from public view. The true cost can be almost double the sticker prices when subsidies for electric charging and fuel economy credits are included. Despite this, they don't sell or function well. It's time to reembrace a high carbon lifestyle, says the Hon. Jason Isaac, the CEO of the American Energy Institute.
